Where This Is Going
Three decades of collecting. 200+ varieties. Seeds from ten countries. This archive is becoming something bigger.
How It Started
Jackie has severe Crohn's disease. Cannabis — prescribed by her doctor nearly 30 years ago — saved her life. That experience ignited a lifelong dedication to this plant. She became a key figure in the push to legalize medical cannabis in the Netherlands, and her advocacy reached communities across Europe.
Bret was a caregiver in Colorado before medical marijuana was even legal — one of the people who made legalization possible by demonstrating that cannabis was medicine, not crime. Together, they started collecting and breeding. The archive grew year by year, cross by cross, into what it is today.
From Personal Collection to Global Archive
What started as handwritten labels on Dutch ziplocks — okt, buiten, kaas— is now a documented library of 200+ varieties spanning Amsterdam's coffeeshop golden age, Caribbean landraces, rare African sativas, and modern Colorado high-altitude crosses.
The genetics in this archive include strains that may no longer exist anywhere else. Ghanaian sativa. Pure Haze from 1996. Hunter S. Thompson's personal Gonzo Ganja. Neville's Haze — only two seeds remaining of one of the most important strains ever created.
These aren't commercial seeds. They're genetic history. And now they're being preserved, documented, and shared with the world.
What's Next
The archive is going permanent. A dedicated space for growing, breeding, preserving, and sharing these genetics — rooted in the Netherlands, with ambitions that stretch further.
The Netherlands
Home base. Where the collection lives and grows. A space for cultivation, preservation, and hands-on education.
Hawaii
Tropical terroir. Volcanic soil. Hawaiian genetics already in the archive — the natural next chapter.
Germany
Europe's fastest-growing cannabis market. An opportunity to bring rare genetics and real knowledge to a new audience.
Jamaica
Where Jamaica Folly — the archive's most prolific mother strain — traces its roots. Full circle.
New York City
The birthplace of Sour Diesel and the East Coast cannabis renaissance. Where culture meets genetics.
And Beyond
Wherever rare genetics need preserving and communities need education. The archive goes where it's needed.
The People Behind It
This isn't a corporation. It's two people who have dedicated their lives to this plant — through activism, caregiving, breeding, and preservation. Thirty years of experience, documented in every label, every cross, every seed.
“We are humble people with the information patients and students really need. This is a rest-of-our-lives commitment.”
